Summary of Buyer experience:
My Wife & I were first time buyers when we were introduced to Paul through my Mortgage Broker. We weren’t intending to buy anything right away but wanted to get a feel for the market and the area of Mira Mesa where we wanted to buy. Paul and I discussed and ranked our criteria for the future property and he went to work getting us several houses lined up to view. He also did a break down of the housing market in Mira Mesa for us looking at the trends & $/sqft for the 3 & 4 bedroom properties to help me understand the way the market was trending and how to compare that to the properties we were interested in. We viewed around 7 houses in one day and Paul helped point out the pros/cons of each property and didn’t take offense when the Wife vetoed a property as soon as we walked through the door. By the end of the day we realized that every house we went into was being compared to the first house we visited so we decided that we should move forward now and get the house we loved. Paul immediately got to work and drafted a very compelling offer for the seller. We knew that there was already a competing offer out there and Paul guided me through some choices to make sure our offer was the better pick. Once our offer was accepted Paul lined up a great home inspector who walked me through every inch of the house and really helped me understand what we would be getting into. From that point on there were lots of disclosures and other forms we needed to sign as part of the purchasing process. Paul used Docusign to make the process super easy and was always willing to answer any of my questions I had about what I was signing. We closed our house on time and couldn’t be happier. I consider it to be a true blessing having Paul help us purchase our first home.
